During the World War II, this pub was used as a workplace of Charles de Gaulle and Dylan Thomas and Francis Bacon drank here. There are more historical events at this pub, ‘Soho history’. Only at the daytime food is served and the beer is served in halves.

As the name implies, the Guinea Grill has very good grills and it’s both a pub and restaurant. It is an expensive venue but it is worth it. Also some of the celebrities such as Frank Sinatra, Ava Gardner, Oliver Reed, Eric Clapton, AC/DC and more have been there.

This pub is near to the shopping district of Harrods and Knightsbridge. It has a sense of old public house with cluttered assembly of portraits, bric-a-brac and pewter mugs.

7. Chesham Arms

Chesham Arms is an Asset of Community Value in London and one of the most liked pubs. The dark red colored walls, gold embossed ceiling and fisheye mirrors make interior look very cosy. Also in summer, you can drink your beer in the garden of the pub.

8. The Coach & Horses

This is the first vegan and vegetarian pub of London. Although the pub looks an old and worn place, the vibe it has is very beloved. Also on Tuesday and Saturday nights, you can hear piano and people’s voice of singing.

9. The Grenadier

The Grenadier used to be an officer’s mess for the Foot Guards regiment in 1720 but it has been a pub in 1818. Allegedly, it is haunted by the ghost of a former soldier who was murdered after cheating in a game of cards. Also, once it was the afterparty venue for Madonna.
